UNR and TMCC celebrate diveristy and culture
This weekend the University and community college host celebrations of the people of the world and diversity. Friday night celebrates the 25th annual Night of All Nations as well as TMCC's 22nd annual Multicultural Festival on Saturday morning. Both events offer cultural music, dances, art and food from all over the world.
If you have never gone to either one of these festivals you really should go this year!
UNR's Night of All Nations offers more than 50 clubs celebrating different cultures all over the globe to bring a togetherness as human beings. The event begins at 6p.m.on Friday, April 20th and goes until 9 pm at Lawlor Events Center. The price is $3 with student ID and $4 general admission.
This year I will be heading to TMCC for the 22nd annual Multicultural Festival. I have never gone and am excited to see the community college's festivities. The event is on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 7000 Dandini Blvd. in the student services center. This is event is free for students and the general public.
Make sure to catch my article on the Multicultural Festival in Sunday's paper and on the blog Monday! :)
